OCII is proud to announce the arrival of Dry DSL services. Dry DSL is the perfect choice for residential and corporate customers where a local landline telephone line is either not available or not required. An example would be if you are using a VoIP product like Vonage.
How Does It Work?
Dry DSL utilizes the same infrastructure as normal ADSL services, but without dial-tone on the line. The benefit is that you can connect to the ADSL network without paying for a land line that you don't use.
How Much Does It Cost?
In order to get Dry DSL, there is a one-time upfront setup fee. This is a fee that is charged by Telus to us. Then, depending on your location, there is a nominal monthly charge in addition to your normal ADSL line fees. The end result is that you can save hundreds of dollars on the cost of non-essential phone services.
