Email Setup Instructions

Outlook Express 5.x / 6
If you are starting the program for the first time, the setup wizard should start automatically. If you have previously used Outlook Express with another email provider you will need to click on "Tools", "Accounts", "Add" "Mail".
  • Enter your name with regular capitalization, example "John Smith"
  • Click Next.
  • Enter your email address username@ocii.com.
  • Click Next.
  • Your email server is a POP3 Server
  • Enter mail.ocii.com for the incoming POP3 mail server.
  • Enter smtp.ocii.com for the outgoing SMTP server.
  • Click Next.
  • Your username will appear, enter your password
  • Click to remember password
  • Click Next
  • Click Finish

Netscape 7

If you are starting the program for the first time, the wizard should start automatically. If you have previously used Netscape Email with another email provider you will need to click on the link above Inbox and then select either "View Settings for this Account" or "Create a new acocunt".
  • Select Email Account
  • Click Next
  • Enter your name and email address username@ocii.com
  • Click Next
  • Select POP as the serve type and enter mail.ocii.com
  • Click Next
  • Your usrname should appear
  • Click Next
  • The Account name can be left as is
  • Click Next
  • Click Finish
Click on View Settings for this account and select Outoing Server from the menu. Enter mail.ocii.com and click OK.
