Set Up Windows Vista for OCII Dial-Up
- Close all the windows and programs open on your screen.
- Click on Start, then click on Control
Panels.
You will see a window that looks similar to the example below.
- In the Control Panel window, click on
the Network and Internet icon. The window will change
to look similar to the example below.
- Click on the Network and Sharing icon.
The window will now look similar to the example below.
- In the Network and Sharing Center window,
on the left-side menu, click on Setup a Connection or Network.
The window will now look similar to the example below.
Select Connect to the Internet, and then click the Next
button.
- Select Dial-up.
- Enter the correct information in the Dial-up Phone
Number, User Name, and Password boxes.
Click the Connect button.
- Windows Vista will now attempt to verify that the
connection was setup correctly. Your screen should look similar to the
example below.
- Once Vista has determined that the connection was setup
correctly, it will connect you to OCII. Your screen should look like
the example below. You should now be able to view web pages by clicking
on the Browse the Internet now button.
