Delta Voices was created in December of 1996 as a promotional vehicle for Gwich'in Graphics, an Inuvik print and IT house. It quickly evolved into a community features publication, exploring social, economic and cultural issues. I was originally production editor and moved into general editorship when the original editor left. This newsmagazine was published conventionally and distributed in Inuvik and Yellowknife, and was originally published on the company website. I was responsible for writing, editing and art direction until November of 1997.
