World Farm - Agricultural Employment Overseas/Working Holiday

This is a unique program allowing the traveler to obtain employment before they leave home.  World Farm is a reciprocal program that exchanges expertise and skills between Canadian and Australian farmers.

Employment opportunities vary in duration from 4 weeks to 3 months. This allows the applicant flexible travel and working patterns. You are not locked into one place for the duration of your stay. 

Together with partners, Global Staff Solutions and Rural Enterprises in Australia, Jac's Journeys goal is to provide you with a career building experience.

The Goals:
- Increase knowledge through the exchange of expertise and skills
- Learning and understanding different farming practices
- Cross cultural communication and learning
- Develop good will between Australia and Canada
- Provide skilled workers for seasonal short term labour shortages

The program package includes:

• Employment in agriculture 
• Advice and information on setting up your bank account
• Mail address service
• Assistance and direction in setting up an Australian Taxation Office number
• Assistance with visa application
• Trip cancellation and medical insurance, (mandatory in Australia).
• Return Airfare
• Transport Taxes -  For example: Aiport Improvement fee, Departure tax.
• Itinerary planning assistance via Asia of the South Pacific - NB: Most 12 month air fares include at least 2 stop overs.
• Employers will be screened and interviewed to pursue the best possible working experience for the applicant.
• General aid and a place to call if you need help
